No Refrigeration Needed: Detroit Taste Fest June 2005

Back to the timeline. I (=April) got a phone call from her sister that they were in midtown Detroit (kinda cheesy, the midtown part) and the Detroit Taste Fest was happening. This is a cool thing were all of the local restaurants set up booths and you get tickets and buy beer and food with the tickets (overpriced beer and food) and walk around listening to a bunch of Free concerts.

They have all different kinds of music, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Rap, etc. I was stoked because the electric 6 (=good local band that made it moderately big ==high voltage from the Charlies Angel's 1 movie) were going to be there.

So April and I headed down to fill up on overpriced consumables.

That's me in the white and black shirt and a pirates fan next to me. He looked like a little kid from afar but was probably 34 (and he wasn't an impaired person)

April's Purse decided to attack her at this moment and fortunately I know some purse defense moves to disarm the purse.

Lauren was very relieved by the disarming.

This guy was definitely into the music, opting for the pointing to the beat.

So the girls were walking around and ran into this guy in the middle (don't know his name) but Sarah knew him and he was part of the crew that puts on the taste fest and he was assigned to this stage so....
